TTT: Books I’m Thankful For

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is about books I’m thankful for. I love this recurring topic. Here is last year’s post. These are in no particular order, just books that touched my somehow, and changed my world a little.

Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things - Jenny LawsonMy Review/Add to Goodreads

An Indigenous Peoples' History of the United States (ReVisioning American History) - Roxanne Dunbar-OrtizMy Review/Add to Goodreads

Things We Lost in the Fire: Stories - Mariana EnríquezMy Review / Add to Goodreads

Kindred - Octavia E. ButlerMy Review (contains spoilers)/Add to Goodreads

Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race - Margot Lee ShetterlyMy Review/Add to Goodreads

Sister Outsider: Essays and Speeches - Audre LordeMy Review /Add to Goodreads

Ashley's War: The Untold Story of a Team of Women Soldiers on the Special Ops Battlefield - Gayle Tzemach LemmonMy Review/Add to Goodreads

Everything I Never Told You - Celeste Ng,Cassandra CampbellMy Review/Add to Goodreads

Difficult Women - Roxane Gay My Review/Add to Goodreads

Moving Beyond Words: Age, Rage, Sex, Power, Money, Muscles: Breaking Boundaries of Gender - Gloria SteinemMy Review/Add to Goodreads

I loved and appreciate these for different reasons, mostly all feminist in nature though. A lot of the books I’ve been reading since I started blogging in 2014 have been making sense of the world and putting language to things I knew but couldn’t express. I’ve been amazed by the journey so far and can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

Check out other books bloggers are thankful for at the Broke and Bookish!
