Looking back on Ecclesiastes

Ecclesiastes is a short book of 12 chapters. I had split them into two posts because the length of the posts were getting a little out of hand. There are no people mentioned in the book by name, but it is a book of wisdom and there is advice for men and women and for men about women. There are also some not so flattering things said about women and what we can or will do to men as well as the personification of vanity as a woman. It’s not that there wasn’t good wisdom in the book, just that none of it was really directed at women and so its a little….. biased.

Here are the original posts: chapters 1-6 and 7-12
